dfjarvis@gmail.com BioBorn in 1980, I'm old. Ok not really. I am a techie though. I aspire to have a wonderful career improving the sercurity of networks and the internet as a whole. I wish that I was more in touch with technology as a child, but at least I can say I was a citizen of the net before the hordes of spam, pr0n, and commercialism overflowed the bit stream.
I have lived in many places, and within the past few years have settle in Massachusetts. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. After a breif unemployment period following my graduation, I now work for combination ISP/Colocation facility in Providence, RI.
When I am not working, I spend my time hanging out with my girl or tweaking my firewall and network... more with the girl though, I promise. A game of Starcraft is needed every now and then to maintain a reasonable level of sanity.
